Associate Principal Julie Lizama Hancock is an experienced investigator who has provided a diverse array of risk advisory services to clients around the world. She leads business intelligence, due diligence, and other investigations, providing clients with crucial intelligence to help navigate complex situations. She is skilled at leveraging various sources of information, including structured interviews and social media/online intelligence, to distill relevant insights.
Prior to joining Jetty Partners, Julie led K2 Integrity's Los Angeles office. Serving as a managing director, she worked on high-stakes investigations, asset tracing assignments, litigation support, and undercover operations for over a decade. She also served as a key member of independent consultant teams that worked at the direction of federal, state, and international regulators, advising leading global financial institutions on their OFAC and AML compliance frameworks.
Earlier in her career, Julie worked for a Washington, D.C.-based political risk consultancy where she delivered strategic intelligence to private and public sector clients, with a focus on the energy industry and the Asia-Pacific region.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys hiking under the California sun.
